UTC CLXXXV - Hearsay

The following pages were very hard to write because I had trouble figuring out the best way for Cass to catch on to what Noah and Flint are doing. I don't like the idea of it being something she just walks in on. I want her to figure it out like a mystery. But she doesn't have a lot of scenes, since this is not her story, so I was limited to the clues she could find. The solution I've settled for is more direct than I would have preferred, but it's quick and it does the job. Cass is an intelligent person, and I want to find ways to show her being intelligent and acting toward a goal rather than reacting to random crazy stuff all the time.

This page was a combination of two different scenes, one with a student talking to Noah about Dr. Attic's policies and the other a scene where Cass learns about Reed's ethical violation (turning his brother into a cheetah). The scenes couldn't both exist in the same story because of pacing and page limitations. I managed to preserve the bare components of those two scenes and mix them together here.
