UTC CXXII - Shiver Shock

I wanted to title this "Watch Out, She's Jeff Goldbluming," in a reference to Independence Day, but it seemed rather cheap. Still, that's exactly what Cass is doing here, and I feel like a lousy writer having to resort to word association epiphanies.

Had this been released on Talk Like a Pirate Day, the title would have been "Shiver Me Noahs."

The warm-to-cold blood transition was a plot point that I had originally written in the first draft of the Chapter 3 script. In that draft, Cass called Noah to go with her to Morty's and confront him. (Instead of conceding to him, which is how the final script turned out.) Their argument almost broke into a fight, but halted when Noah suddenly collapsed in a shivering heap on the floor of Morty's hall. When the chapter was heavily reworked--omitting Noah entirely to draw out Cass' anxiety over him seeing her goat self--this plot point was put on a shelf until it could be useful.

Not only does it continue Noah's slow transformation into a salamander, but removing him from the story allows Cass to take over solving the shrinking situation largely unassisted; the first real demonstration of her problem-solving skills in Phase Two.

I'm not sure the Scurry reveal has been set up properly. I didn't want to put an obvious amount of attention on Flint's backpack, but as a result it was barely seen in frame at all. Scurry's tail was added to panel 5 of page 120 at the last minute, when I was nervous that I hadn't put enough visual clues in place to lead up to the surprise.
