It's the 50th page! The last series of mine to hit 50 total pages was Seven to Seven #8 way back in 2004. How far things have come since then...
This page wasn't fun to draw. 51, however, was so totally a blast. ^_^
The little text on the big screen is mostly covered up, but here's exactly what it says:
SUBJECTS BIOLOGICAL STATUS IS INDETERMINATE. READINGS INDICATE A MUTATED STATE BETWEEN DIFFERENT IDENTIFIABLE SPECIES. GENETIC MODIFICATIONS CORRELATE TO MULTIPLE SPECIES WITHIN THE GENUS "CAPRA."
In short, it's an acknowledgment that I never pinpointed a specific species for Cass. The goat DNA isn't totally from the Cashmere breed, as during my research I found that those females don't have horns. So I just decided that Morty threw together a bunch of different goat types to make a custom anthropomorphic image to his liking...same way I did while designing her, really.
LI is coming NEXT Monday, not Friday, to the website. I apologize for falling behind schedule. It's all my fault, not Josh's. I didn't get these pages to him far enough in advance (our agreement allows him a minimum of 7 days to color a page before I demand it back), but things are back on track now. As a consolation, I will be posting the next page on dA the instant it's finished, which is anytime between tomorrow and next Sunday. After March 10th the schedule goes back to normal.
